UIC Disability Climate Survey

Purpose of the Survey

The Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities (CCSPD) developed and implemented a campus-wide status survey of disabled students, faculty, and staff at UIC. The purpose of the survey was to understand the perceptions and experiences of disabled students, faculty, and staff at UIC. This is the first university-wide survey in the history of UIC focusing on the disability community. The ultimate goal of the survey is to contribute to a more equitable, accessible, and inclusive campus.
